FFA was founded in 1928 by Henry C. Groseclose, Harry Sanders, Walter S. Newman, and Edmund Magil. FAA's motto is learning to do, doing to learn, earning to live, living to serve. FFA's mission is to make a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth, and career success through agricultural education. FFA offers scholarships that are sponsored by businesses and individuals through the National FFA Foundation and are given out for a wide variety of experiences, career goals, and a higher education plan.
